The British Isles Pole Dance Competition is pleased to announce this competition will be involved with the BBC. The project will take place on the night of the competition final, at the Civic Hall Grays Essex on the 16th October 2009. There will be filling of the Championships on the night.
The BBC will be attending The British Isles Pole Dance Competition 2009 Championships to film all the proceedings, plus see and film behind the scenes, with interviews from the dancers and people involved and generally to put the artform into some context before they move on to work with the documentary.
Really?

According to Debs Facebook, Karen won (Chaundy, maybe??) and Chantelle won champion of Champions. Hope they all got their share of the £20,000 prize money as advertised. _________________ The grandma of the forum. Menopausal pole tuition a speciality. |

Wasn't there myself being stuck up in Scotland boohoo! But there was a list on the website which stated ...
Joanna Robinson
Chantelle Pritchard
Sally-Ann Giles
Annie Norris
Tracye Simmonds
Amber Rosia

Thats right. It was supposed to be those people but Tracye Simmonds and Amber Rosia dropped out. Not sure why. I really loved all the performances and especially enjoyed seeing Chantelle and Sally-Ann perform. I hope some videos appear soon. |

And it was Karen Chaundy who won the professional category. Leanne Rostron took 2nd place.
