Im new here  Hopefully im soon going to be a newbe dancer 
I have 4 pole lessons booked for when i get back to uni and im soooo exited! I'm really nervous though as my friend was supposed to be going with me but she's backed out so i wont know people (aiiie!!!).
I decided to take the plunge anyway though
Does anyone know what type of thing to expect from their very first lesson? Im going to blush dance in manchester but im assuming they'll all be quite similar?

Good on you for going anyway even though your friend pulled out! My first lesson was amazing, I learnt soooo many spins, and it was a lot of fun! I agree though, be prepared for the aches the next day!!!
Most important things to remember for first lesson is don't use any moisturiser beforehand, and you should wear shorts as you need the skin grip. Other than that, you shouldn't feel like you have to wear heels or anything, it's up to you!!! I pole barefoot.

Aww, thanks for such a nice welcome
I really can't wait to get back to uni to start now! Even lamp-posts are looking appealing (i dont think the neighbours would be that impressed though!). I guess 'till then ill just try to get some upper body strength
