hello from Sunny Surrey!hello everyone!
I have just started pole dancing for fitness a few weeks ago and I am loving every bruise and muscle ache (I used to be a ballet dancer many years ago so pain is just another occupational hazard to dancing for me!)
I am sat at my computer waiting for my pole to arrive that I ordered last week so hopefully will be able to join in more and more with the posting on here once the pole is up.
Oh and after I sort out a half decent avatar.....

Oooh, replies already!
I am hopefully (I say hopefully as the courier STILL hasn't come despite saying it will be here yesterday!) be getting my paws on a 50mm chrome X. EDIT: It has just arrived!!!!!!!!
My boyf loves DIY so it can be his project getting the thing up and down! (secretly he wants a go on it too since he saw a bloke with huge muscles on a pole on internet) so I decided to buy one for the home. I bet he'll be straight up it like a climbing frame, and put all my hard work to shame,grrr!
*must remember to take down when his mum comes to visit*
I am really enjoying the dancing and quite looking forward to inverts and things once I am strong enough, and also looking forward to getting to know you all a bit better and asking advice!

oh good,let's hope it's fairly conspicuous (sp?) maybe I can tell anyone that it's a shower curtain rail but we were drunk when we put it up.......and in the wrong room!

awwaww glad u have it and i bet u will have stacks of fun with it and ya fella wil to hehe, i tell ya what when my brother visited me i forgot once that my pole was up and omg he come into my living room he only thought we had hired a srtripper to the home haha i was like err no lol haha any way glad ya joined us x

name my pole? hmmm..... I haven't even given my car a name (oops!)
I guess I shall have to think of a suitable name once she's up! (I take it they are she's?) erm... 
I don't think I shall get to play on her tonight as I have DOMS from the last class on Wednesday. Guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow night then.Yippee!
