Hi from Aberdeen x xI am just about to start pole dancing lessons!..a bit nervous, as i have been watching some clips on you tube, and really don;t think i'll ever manage to do those moves!!...soooo looking forward to getting started tho, as i have been wanting to learn to do this for a long time!!...

Thanks!..really excited!..and I have been wanting to do this for years, but been a bit scared that I am going to look like an idiot!!..I don't really enjoy going to the gym, as i get really bored tbh, but i have a feeling that i am going to enjoy this, and will stick to, and i am hoping that i tones me up

How long does it take to learn the basic moves?...does it just depend on each individual?

Quite a lot of places offer a 6x lesson basic course, but it depends on your own upper body strength.
I'm sure you will be fine! Just enjoy it!

Snap! i hate the gym too but force myself to go but i LOVE pole! your upper body strength will build up very quickly and don't worry bout looking daft, everyone started somewhere. get a good instructor and just have great fun!!

My sister went to uni in Aberdeen by the way - I went to visit her a couple of times and its COLD up there!!!
