I'm very new to pole dancing!Hi!
I'm very, very new to pole dancing, been doing it with the university for a month now and I absolutely love it! Got lots of bruises and burns but I always look forward to going. I've got a background in dance (mainly ballet), but haven't done any form of exercise in over 2 years. So I'm extremely untoned and unflexible!! Makes it a bit difficult but I'm loving every minute and I've just bought myself an xpole to do extra practice at home. Was going to get the gym membership with the university, which would've cost about £30 less than a pole, and I'm sure I'll do more at home than having to go back out and down the gym after a day in classes.
Looking forward to reading through posts on here and finding tips for improvement

Thanks for all the lovely replies
Can anyone help me with tips for improving pole lifts? I am not very strong, I can get up (just) but when sliding down I feel I don't have much control and will just slip down really fast!
