sorry there has been no updates, we've had a few issues with internet here in the hotel.. but online now.. whooohoo my god. i actually dont know where to start. it is unbelievable out here. The poles are up and the contestants are here!!!
so here is the updates in a nutshell. Pantera is as wonderful and as funny as ever, i swear i can not see her for years and the second we get together its like i just saw her the day before. bloody love the girl. shes waaaay on form too, shes looking stronger than ever on the pole. true bloody legend.. Felix is fucking insane and THE most down to earth person imaginable. shes sharing a room with us and is quite possibly one of the most fun people ive ever met.. oooh AND SHES ENGLISH.. dun dun duuuun. She got me an inch from box splitz in one stretching sess!! shes tiny too. exactly the same height and build as me.. the other night a steel drum band were playing. pantera and felix jumped on the poles either side and both performed together.. fucking amazing!! will load the clip tomorr. i almost peed my pants. Reiko is a freaking star, she did her class today and oh my god!! can that girl spin. there are some bloody serious polers here. everyone is AMAZING!!!! tonight we had a huge jam on the beach... im having the best time with the most talented pole dancers in the bloody world. heres a few pics for now

I'm in Las Vegas at the moment teaching at Pole Fitness Studio and managed to spend some of my first two days here with Jenyne. She left on Monday night for Jamaica and should be there now. She is in amazing form as always - she's going to shine for sure! | ||||||

Well, today is actually amazing. Pantera and felix lead a workshop. Felix taught us how to get into the 'Spatchcock' (part 1) more to come tomorrow! quite ridiculous!! not quite mastered it yet. Also met Jenyne today, she is very nice and friggin STRONG ...... Lord help me as I am teaching the workshop tomorrow. Its all very exciting - and extremely nerve racking for me! Looking forward to Tammy's arrival today! | ||||||

taken last night. the day before the comp. nerves are hitting some of the girls hard now.
COMPETITERS JENYNE This is almost like a dream. An event I’ve been waiting to see and be a part of for a long time. I’m so excited to meet all of these lovely, beautiful and talented ladies. And anxious to share my art and passion with all of you. This has been great fun and I don’t want it to end. Already looking forward to what’s next. PANTERA Sweet sweet anticipation today, I am ready for it to be tomorrow. I’m also ready for it to be yesterday again. Loving Jamaica, MPD and Hedonism 111. Kisses. AMY I need chocolate!! TRACEY Despite injuring myself practicing early this morning I am confident that I will do my show to the best of my ability when the time comes. Enjoying watching everyone practicing and performing because everyone is amazing. It’s gonna be a tough one! ORSI I’m getting more and more excited to see the others routine and cant wait to step onto the stage myself. I have had a few mishaps this week… I knocked a picture off the wall practicing in my room.. and go figure they have glass in their picture frames, shattering glass all over the floor. I also hurt my back windsurfing. I couldn’t walk yesterday, so I am hoping my back will recover by tomorrow for the competition. VANILLA I’ve lived up to my dancing style and I’m going to dance with my style forever. I will do my dance tomorrow at this competition, I’m determined now. ELENA First thing that came into my mind is… gulp. I feel on form and ready but nervous about the weather. It’s so hot and I’m worried about slipping! I’m feeling gooooooo…….d What could be better!!! JUDGES KAY Having seen the competitors in a relaxed and friendly state. My thoughts go to them right now as the mood has changed as they become more focused and reality is becoming real. I keep having to remind myself that this is for fun. Roll on Sunday. TAMMY The days leading up to this competition have been so amazing! To bring together all these amazing people and have no drama and no issues, just bonding and great times. It’s hard to believe it’s a competition. I think we have one of the hardest jobs possible, picking one of these amazing girls. No matter what this will be one of the greatest experiences ever! DEB This week has been amazing!! We spent the whole time getting up to mischief and having so many laughs. I know exactly how the girls are feeling, as I suffer really badly with nerves when I was competing, I’m really feeling for them. I am so emotional about tomorrow and just keep cuddling the girls to try and make their nerves go. They are all amazing and they are ALL winners. It’s going to be so hard to judge!!! I think I am more scared than them…. 13 of the best on one stage, doesn’t get any better!!! SOOOO INSPIRING… SABRINA Really excited to see all the girls perform because the standard is so high. It’s really hard to judge because they are all perfect. I’m sure it’s gonna be so close, like half a point difference between the top 5. I hope that nobody slips and hurts themselves. ALMA I think it will be extremely difficult to judge tomorrow. Everybody is really professional, you cannot put them all into 1 category. They have totally different style. I’m really excited! Cant wait.. ORGANISERS STEVE It’s been hard work all week but it’s coming together now. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve said “wow” this week! Everyone is working so hard to make history with this festival of Pole Dance. TARIN This has been one of the most fulfilling experiences and it’s been amazing meeting and making friends with people from all over the world. We have been working on this for 12 months and now we are here. I look forward to whatever comes next. So exciting!!! DEB M Really excited, really nervous. CANT WAIT!! |
