Alrighty, here are the results of the singles:

3rd: Kaila Lee
2nd: Tracey Simmonds
1st: Maxine

Im not sure if there was a separation between fitness and glamour from what I could tell?

Was a great night though, I didnt get to see any of the other competitors cos I was up right at the end, but I've heard great things about them all and the crowd definately sounded like they were loving it! Cant wait to see some vids!!

Well done everyone, and great meeting you all!! Smile

I didn't see the singles knockout (only the results).
I understand that they only had to perform for 3 mins in the knockout, so they would have only seen 1/2 of the performance
kazza

I asked her about that. I think she said she just did a shorter version of her 5 minute routine. Wish I could of seen her! And everyone else!

Can't wait to see videos!

I have to say, I really enjoyed all the performances, I though everyone did a fabulous job!

But.. the place itself was full of a load of absolute pricks. So many blokes there.. who had no ties with Pole dancing whatsoever and had just come along to see a bit of flesh. Some really rude and aggravating people, a lot of homophobic comments which I found offensive and the booing during the awards was unnecessary.
lia

Someone said it started really really late, too... Sad

There were LOADS of randoms in the VIP bar who weren't even interested in watching, they just talked all the way through it!

The afternoon session ran an hour late.
The evening session was about 1/2 hour late starting, but seemed to keep on track.

Oh...that's not too bad....I thought it was like, 4 hours....
Jojo

Agreed. My ticket said 7pm. But actually the first competitor wasn't supposed to be on until 9pm (but it was more like 1/2 past)

OMG were people booing?? must say i didnt notice that - but that is awful!!! - how rude is that!!!
Kemet_Sean

I really enjoyed all the performances and was extremely impressed by the standard of the competitors. But I have to agree with Jojo on the atmosphere. I also found there was a lot of waiting around before things started. This meant we had to leave before they announced the winner so didn't see people booing. What was all that about!?
Miss Behave

The show was fantastic! So many lovely ladies showing us their skills. I was in awe of them all just for getting up there! Well done ladies!

I fell in love with Maxine watching her afternoon performance. There was just something about her. Was thrilled she won and found it really sweet that she looked so stunned.

I totally agree about the audience. I was so annoyed by the men stood behind me, so disrespectful. It gave the whole evening a totally different vibe from last year. I was disgusted with some of the crowd. Support your own favourite by all means, but do not disrespect the other competitors. It is rude and unforgiveable.

Keem took my breath away. What a totally beautiful performance!

they are wrong..  tracey simmonds won most entertaining as well as second place.

Don't know if I'm still allowed to speak yet??!! Hmmm anyways...

I am sorry I couldn't tell anyone I was judging I was sworn to secrecy!

I loved Judging but it is hard!  I loved most of the performances and praise everyone who got up there on the stage and gave it their all! I know how much time and effort is put into creating routines, costumes, choosing music etc and I could see most of the contenders put their heart and soul into their performances... They were brilliant!

Unfortunately from where I was sat I could also tell that there were a vast majority of the crowd who were totally unappreciative of the dancers.  I was so annoyed by the end of the night, at how flat their responses were that I did shout out at one point! 'C'mon, ffs'!

It was frustrating to watch the performers give their all and not get any response apart from our friends and supporters at the front (sorry I couldn't hear anyone in VIP!)  What a Terrible audience! I'm So glad I wasn't in the crowd or I'd have knocked them out! lol

All in all though it was a brilliant day... some amazing polers coming to the forefront and some old and known ones showing their awesum talents... I loved it!

I missed those who were there last year! Tess, and sorry I didn't get to meet up and chat with some of you...

Hope I can say this *eek!*   Most of the performers did dance to the full song in the knock-outs including the winner Maxine.

The difference was in the knock-outs the contenders were a lot more nervous than in the final rounds where they were a lot more confident, so that was the difference Wink x
