PoleDivas - Help RequiredHey everyone!We're getting really excited about PoleDivas this year! Lots of new things for you guys! We are still looking to find/confirm some venues. So we really need your help! Do you of any venues that might be suitable for the heats - enough room for a performance, minimum 9ft ceiling suitable for an X-Pole. And of course room for lots of people to be able to watch! We are looking for venues in: CARDIFF, BIRMINGHAM, BRIGHTON (we might still be persuaded to look at other locations in the South East), SCOTLAND. Anyone with a school in these areas who is willing to offer help to PoleDivas; please contact us. There may be advertising opportunities and ticket incentives available! Calling all Scottish Polers!Hello!We are still deciding on the best location in Scotland to hold the Scottish PoleDivas heat. Remember this is YOUR competition, so we want to make it the best for YOU. We don't just want to say; "right, it's in Edinburgh" and then have some people unhappy. (of course we won't be able to please everyone!) We are looking for the best location in Scotland - taking into consideration things like general population, poling population, density of pole schools, ease of travel for the majority etc. etc. Discussions on location can be in this thread. I think the best place to hold it would be right in the remote end of SW Scotland, it's accessible for no one but Amby and I can make it......oh wait, that still means I have to get rid of Amby to ensure winning without any other competitors....

Personally I thing Glasgow would work best fro Scotland , there are now a lot of schools in Glasgow and the surrounding areas (not just being biased living here) Last years Scottish heat, the majority of the entrants and spectators where from Glasgow, and I know there are more girls who would have considered entering had it been held in Glasgow. I realise this can be a travel for some, but then there were only 2 girls who entered last year that were from Edinburgh and both have since travelled through to Glasgoe to join us for some pole Jams. I've been trying to have a think of venues for you, but would like to double check suitability before e-mailing with suggestions. |

SCOTLAND HEAT: From your posts, we think that the best place for you would be Glasgow - We would love to be able to hold the heat there, but we have not received any possibilities of where to hold it.
