Hopefully I'll be able to watch the Manchester heat and the Final.... Okay I'll ask blatently what would the legalities be of me having a newborn with me (in a sling no issue to anyone). I'd hate to miss my friends performing but I will not be able to leave little one. |

Anyone on here entering? I'm chuffed that the Scottish heat this year is in Glasgow, think I may have a few students and pole buddies entering so will be there cheering them on and helping out where needed. Hopefully there will be alot more spectators this year too. Had a few students and buddies trying to convince me to take part but I think I'll see where I am next year!
Going to try and get down for the final too  x

hey, I may enter but not sure yet! Can you go to watch heats even of your not entering? Also, would like to go to Finals so gonna buy a few tickets but if I am unable to go would I be able to sell on ok if they have to be picked up at the door? Also I dont know who will be coming with me yet so would be unable to mark them or could I mark them both my name?

No. Tickets are non-transferable. All sales are final, no refunds.
The tickets at purchase are labeled under the party leader's name. We will email you asking for all your parties individual names. This is to unsure all guests are pole friendly. |

itunes lets you cut tracks down you know......I can show you how next time your over if you like. I'm sooooooooo happy your entering!!! |

You can't edit too much but you can cut the intro and ending off.
If you highlight the track and right click on it, it should bring up a list on there there is a 'get info' link. That brings up a box with loads of tabs there is one that says 'options' on there you can edit the start and finish times on the track. That should work. |

If you have the track on cd it isn't too hard to do that...but if it is only in i-tunes it becomes a bit of a pain in the arse. |

its 50 seconds too long, and if i cut it at then end the main boom bit gets lost and if i loose it at the start it makes no sense.

The middle can be cut if you have software. I'm sure some music editing software can be downloaded for free online | ||||

After been talked through it via te medium of facebook MrsGem has rescued me!
I cut the song to the length i wanted on itunes I then loaded it onto window movie makeer and faded it I then re-loaded it onto itunes EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE oh wait a min, I still have one small problem, I need a routine. Hmm.. MrsGem? |

I won't be entering this year - I'd have to enter at professional level and I still can't do a decent ayesha! I've been off the pole for two weeks and have to have another two weeks off as well, so I don't think there's any way I'd be ready for a competition. I've probably lost a lot of moves, and if I have to go through the pain of relearning my shouldermount and superman I think I will cry!!! I want to come and watch though

ANNOUNCEMENT If you want to enter the LONDON heat of PoleDivas - the closing date for this heat has now been extended. Entry fees to be in by 23/08/09. Entry forms must be received in advance of the competition date. It's 3 spin poses in 1 spin without putting your feet down. e.g Carousel to Chair to Front Hook. The poses must be distinct poses, and each shape held for at least 1/2 a turn. |
